General Terms and Conditions – Russian Masters Ballet
Last updated: October 2026
1. Who we are
RMB Online is organised under the brand RUSSIAN MASTERS BALLET (“RMB”) by Asociación Nacional de Ballet Profesional (“ANBP”), Tax ID G73821035, registered in the National Register of Associations (Spain), Section 1, no. 609588.
Common contact: info@russianmastersballet.com · +34 609 816 395. The registered address of ANBP is listed in the Legal Notice of the website.
ANBP is “the Organisation” and the only party to the contract with the participant.
2. Scope
These terms apply to the booking of summer and winter intensive courses, auditions, online classes and courses (RMB Online), private lessons, accommodation and additional services offered by RMB through russianmastersballet.com and its registration platform.
They are supplemented by:
- the specific contract of each course or service;
- the Refund & Cancellation Policy in force;
- the course rules (General Regulations) and the programme dossier;
- the Legal Notice and the Privacy Policy of the website.
In case of conflict, the signed specific contract prevails, unless the law provides otherwise.
3. Who may book and acceptance
Any adult with legal capacity may book. If the participant is a minor, the booking is made by their parents or legal guardians, who accept these terms on the minor’s behalf and are responsible for compliance with them.
By ticking the acceptance box or signing the contract, the person booking declares that they have read and accepted these terms and the documents listed in section 2. They can be downloaded and saved at any time.
4. Services
- In-person courses: summer and winter intensives at the published venues and dates, with or without accommodation.
- Auditions: in person, by video or online. They are used for selection and do not guarantee a place or a scholarship.
- RMB Online: live classes, online intensive courses, private lessons and masterclasses (section 15).
- Additional services: transfers, tickets, photo sessions and other optional services, when offered.
The content, schedule, teachers and venue of each programme are those published on the programme page and in the dossier. The Organisation may adjust schedules, groups or teachers for teaching or organisational reasons, while maintaining the level and duration of the programme.
5. Selection and registration
Places are limited and many programmes require prior selection. The process is:
- Application or audition through the website or the registration platform.
- Notification of admission and access to the private area.
- Acceptance of the contract and these terms in the private area.
- Payment of the deposit within the stated deadline.
The place is only confirmed once steps 3 and 4 are completed. The rest of the price is paid according to the payment schedule in the contract. If payment is not made on time, the Refund & Cancellation Policy applies.
6. User account
The website is for information only. Registration, contract and payment for in-person courses and auditions are done on the registration platform CampSite (CampManager). RMB Online courses and classes are booked and paid on the Timify platform. The person booking must provide true information, keep it up to date and keep their login details safe. Errors in the data can be corrected in the private area or by writing to info@russianmastersballet.com before the registration is confirmed.
7. Prices and taxes
Prices are in euros. Courses, classes and auditions are educational services exempt from VAT under article 20.One.9 of Spanish VAT Law 37/1992, which includes services directly related to them (such as accommodation or transport when they form part of the course). Tickets for performances, such as the Stars Gala, include the applicable VAT (10%). The exemption applies equally to RMB Online courses and classes. The valid price is the one published when the registration is confirmed. Later changes do not affect registrations already confirmed.
The price includes what is detailed on the page or in the contract of each programme. It does not include travel, visas, personal insurance or personal expenses, unless expressly stated.
Discounts, scholarships and promotions have their own conditions and cannot be combined, unless stated otherwise.
8. Payments and invoices
Payment methods: bank transfer, card (Redsys gateway), PayPal and Stripe, depending on the programme. Bank or currency exchange fees charged by the payer’s bank are borne by the payer.
Card payments are made through secure gateways; the Organisation does not see or store card details.
The invoice is issued in the name of the person booking, by ANBP, and is sent by email or made available in the private area.
9. Right of withdrawal
When the person booking is a consumer and books at a distance, they generally have 14 calendar days to withdraw without giving any reason (article 102 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, TRLGDCU).
Exceptions (article 103 TRLGDCU):
- In-person courses, auditions and accommodation services with specific dates: these are leisure services with a specific date or period of performance (art. 103.l) and there is no right of withdrawal. Cancellations are governed by section 10.
- Digital content and recorded online classes: if the person booking expressly requests immediate access and acknowledges that they thereby lose the right of withdrawal, the right is lost when access begins (art. 103.m). The platform will ask for this consent with a separate checkbox.
- Live online classes: if the service is fully performed within the 14 days, with the express consent of the person booking, the right is lost once the service has been completed (art. 103.a). If they withdraw earlier, they pay for the part already provided.
To withdraw where applicable, simply write to info@russianmastersballet.com stating your name, the programme and the booking date. The Organisation will refund the amount within 14 days at the latest, using the same payment method.
10. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations by the participant, changes, refunds and cancellation by the Organisation are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy in force, which is provided as an annex to the contract of each programme, and by that contract. In summary:
- Deposit or first payment: secures the place and covers management and organisation costs; as a rule, it is not refundable.
- Voluntary cancellation for personal reasons (change of plans, travel, visa, etc.): does not give an automatic right to a refund. The Organisation may retain the costs already incurred, which may reach 100% of the price if the cancellation is made after the last payment deadline or within 30 days before the start.
- No-show or leaving a course already started: up to 100% of the price may be retained.
- Serious documented medical reasons: considered case by case; they do not give an automatic right to a refund.
- If the Organisation cannot deliver the course for reasons attributable to it, it refunds the amount paid for that service. It may also offer another programme, other dates or a credit for a future course, which the person booking may accept or decline.
- Refund requests must be made in writing, following the procedure and deadlines of the policy.
RMB Online classes: group classes can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 48 hours before the class time, and private lessons up to 24 hours before. If cancelled later, or in case of non-attendance, there is no refund. In case of illness or emergency, please write to the team as soon as possible to find another date. Full details are in the RMB Online Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy: online.russianmastersballet.com/cancellation-policy.
We recommend that each participant takes out their own travel and cancellation insurance.
Nothing in this section limits the rights that the law grants to consumers.
11. Participants under 18
Parents or guardians authorise the minor’s participation and, where applicable, their stay in the course accommodation. They must provide contact details available at all times and the documents requested by the Organisation (authorisations, travel document, health card or insurance). Outside the course schedule and programme, minors without official accommodation remain under the responsibility of their parents or guardians.
12. Health and fitness
Intensive ballet requires good physical condition. The person booking declares that the participant has no medical impediment to the activity and undertakes to report, before the course, any relevant injuries, allergies, illnesses or treatments. This information is treated confidentially and only to look after the participant.
In an emergency, the Organisation may seek medical care and will inform the parents or guardians immediately. Medical expenses not covered by insurance are borne by the participant.
13. Code of conduct
Participants must respect the course rules (General Regulations), the teachers, the staff, the other students and the facilities. Serious misconduct (violence, harassment, consumption of alcohol or drugs, intentional damage, endangering one’s own or others’ safety) may lead to expulsion without refund, after notifying the parents or guardians. Damage caused will be charged to the person who made the booking.
14. Image, insurance and liability
Image. Photos and videos are taken during classes, courses, rehearsals and galas. If the person booking authorises it, the Organisation may capture and use the participant’s image and voice to document the course, keep it in the RMB archive, share it with participants and their families as a memory, and to communicate about and promote RMB (website, social media, newsletters, press and promotional material). The authorisation also extends to the teachers and artists authorised by RMB, who may use these photos and videos to present their teaching and artistic work in connection with Russian Masters Ballet, including on their professional websites, social media and portfolios. In the registration contract (CampSite), the person booking chooses YES or NO. If they choose NO, the Organisation takes reasonable measures not to record the participant in an identifiable way during non-public activities. Public galas and performances are always recorded, and this material may be used by RMB and its teachers and artists: anyone who does not authorise the recording may take part in the course, but not in the gala. Images are never used in a way that harms the dignity or reputation of the participant. Consent may be withdrawn at any time for future uses by writing to info@russianmastersballet.com. Participants and their families may not record classes without permission.
Insurance. The Organisation has civil liability insurance and accident insurance for its activities. We recommend that each participant has their own medical and travel insurance.
Liability. The Organisation is liable for damage caused by its fault or negligence in providing the service. It is not liable for lost or forgotten personal belongings, or for damage caused by failure to follow the rules or the teachers’ instructions, unless the law provides otherwise. This limitation does not affect consumers’ legal rights.
15. RMB Online: access
RMB Online is organised by Asociación Nacional de Ballet Profesional (ANBP), Tax ID G73821035. Booking, payment and access take place on the Timify platform. After payment, the person booking receives access to the class or course. A stable internet connection, a compatible device and a safe and suitable space for dancing are required; the Organisation is not liable for failures of the user’s connection or equipment.
If a live class cannot take place for reasons attributable to the Organisation, it is rescheduled or its price is refunded.
Minors must be accompanied or supervised by an adult during online classes.
16. Recordings
Live classes may be recorded to offer the replay to registered participants, for the period indicated in the programme. If they are recorded, this is announced at the start. Students may keep their camera off if they prefer, except in private lessons or classes with individual correction.
17. Intellectual property and personal use
The classes, videos, materials and methods of RMB and its teachers are protected by intellectual property rights. Access is personal and non-transferable and for private use only. It is not permitted to record, download, copy, share login details, rebroadcast or use the content for commercial or teaching purposes without written authorisation. In case of breach, the Organisation may close access without refund.
18. Personal data
ANBP processes the data of the person booking and of the participant to manage the registration and the course, in accordance with the GDPR and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018. Full details (purposes, retention periods, recipients and rights) are in the Privacy Policy of the website.
19. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failures caused by events beyond its control (pandemics, disasters, decisions of authorities, conflicts, closure of borders or facilities). In such cases, the Refund & Cancellation Policy applies.
20. Complaints
Queries and complaints can be sent to info@russianmastersballet.com or to the registered address of ANBP. The Organisation will reply as soon as possible and within one month at the latest.
21. Changes, governing law and jurisdiction
The Organisation may update these terms. Each registration is governed by the version in force when it was confirmed.
If any clause is held to be invalid, the rest remains valid.
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If the person booking is a consumer, the courts of their place of residence have jurisdiction; in all other cases, the courts of Alicante. This does not deprive the consumer of the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence.
In the event of any discrepancy between language versions, the Spanish version prevails.
